The Brookville
1931 body with Vintique '32 radiator shell sits on an original 1933 chassis,
front axle, wishbones and spring, with Model A front and rear cross members and
'40 Ford brakes. Shock mounts, steering box and column are Ford F1. Original
'32 headlights are mounted on a cut down headlight bar; front and rear
indicators are Harley-Davidson pieces. |
Rear end
consists of a '46 Ford axle, torque tube and radius rods, suspended on a Model
A spring.
Wheels are '36 Ford 16'' wires with Firestone implement tyres
up front and Firestone 7.50x16's on the rear. |

Lovely looking
hopped-up flattie:
A French flathead V8 with Edelbrock heads,
Offenhauser inlet manifold and a pair of 97 Strombergs. Mallory ignition,
beehive oil filter.
Gearbox is a '39 3-speed. |

Rear features
classic 1950 Pontiac tail lights; a Model T fuel tank is mounted in the
trunk.

Pete Gale's Roadster
Pete's roadster is powered by a
454ci big block Chevy loaded with Edelbrock performance parts.
An Art Carr
350 gearbox drives the Ford 9" rear axle with 3.89 gears. Front axle is a
Chassis Engineering 4" dropped I-beam. |

Engine mods
include Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, Performer RPM cam and timing gears, and
a Street tunnel ram mounted with twin 600 cfm carbs, fed by a Holley blue fuel
pump.
